Memory of love

 

             

Valentine's Day is an unpopular time for Liv. Seeing once at work, how everyone celebrates love, she immediately remembers her dad and how lonely she really is in life. 

When she was 16, she had her first heartbreak. The boy broke her heart. She sat there for a long time and cried when her father came to see her. Apparently tired because off duty. When he asked her about the reason for her sadness, he disappeared for a moment and returned with the package. 

When Liv unpacked she saw a beautiful handmade purple sweater. She knew that her dad was preparing something for her, but she did not expect that she would learn to do needlework the way her mother used to. All regret and sorrow went aside because it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. 

        

She remembers how dad hugged her then and told her "Liv you will cry more than once, but this is a good sign, never give it up, do not abandon this kindness and loving heart, because eventually in your life there will be someone important worthy of these tears to replace them with only joy. But now, happy valentines, because I love you the most in the world."

        

When Liv broke out of her thoughts, she put on a sweater from her dad, she wrapped herself tightly with it, as if her own dad had embraced her. She layed down on the couch. The only thing that surrounded her was how much she misses and loves her dad, even though he has been away for a long time...
